Hannah Devries, RMT
Registered Massage Therapist

As a recent graduate of Kootenay Columbia College of Integrative Health Sciences Registered Massage Therapy program (August 2023), Hannah is currently awaiting her registration to be an RMT, and could not be more ecstatic to be working with the community since graduating. She has completed over 585 hours of hands-on massage with the community in the school’s Massage Clinic prior to graduating.

Hannah’s fascination with anatomy, mobility, and the nervous system began when she first discovered yoga, pilates and dance at a young age. At the age of 19 she completed her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification. Seven years later, she is an Experienced yoga teacher, having taught over 3000 hours of classes and multiple different trainings in Yin, Restorative and Vinyasa Yoga. She has always enjoyed creating a safe and soothing container for each class she offers. Hannah invites each student to arrive as they are in the moment, and to move their body organically. She actually never planned to teach yoga when signing up for her teacher training, but quickly fell in love with seeing her yoga students breathe into their body during class. She would witness her student’s become inspired by their body’s new abilities and watch them land in gratitude, playfulness and new-found self love at the end of each class. She enjoys sharing her knowledge with students and clients who are eager to learn more about the body!

Hannah began her studies in Registered Massage Therapy to craft a more one-on-one approach with clients to help them succeed in their personal goals in health, fitness, body-awareness and in supporting her clients in their journey to decreasing physical limitations and chronic pain. Through manual massage therapy, she has been able to help her client’s create tangible results and changes specific for their body and lifestyle. She does this through different techniques on the massage table, as well as offering a specific home care routine of exercises and stretches specific to the clients needs.

Hannah is passionate about working with postural limitations like Scoliosis, Kyphosis and Lordosis. Hannah has observed in her own journey that our sense of confidence and drive towards life can be wrapped up in our postural limitations. Through the treatment of these conditions we can unravel not only stress stored in the body, but increase our awareness of these areas, which in turn helps us to create a deeper connection with ourselves and our lives.

With her calm, strong and intuitive touch, Hannah creates a safe and supportive space for her clients to let go of stress and tension, and to connect with their own inner wisdom and resilience. She sees each person she works with as a unique individual, with their own needs, challenges, and stories. She takes the time to listen, hear, and understand each client’s own goals for their treatment.

Whether you are just beginning your journey to mobility, health and wellness, or have years of experience, Hannah is dedicated to supporting you and seeing you succeed and feel empowered in your body. Her ongoing studies and commitment to growth ensure that she brings fresh insights and compassion to each massage session, helping her client’s to deepen their experience and connect with their body.

Anthony Spiegelberg, RMT
Registered Massage Therapist

Having been involved in athletics his entire life and playing soccer competitively, Anthony has had his fair share of sport related injuries. Requiring countless hours of massage as an athlete gave him a great respect for what a Massage Therapist can offer to anyone recovering from an injury. This appreciation for the profession is what inspired him to become a Registered Massage Therapist.

Anthony is passionate about providing the highest quality of care for everyone he works with. He enjoys educating his clients about their body and how they can speed their recovery and prevent further injuries from happening. He does this by recommending a home care routine consisting of stretching and exercise to compliment the individual goals of each client.

When Anthony is not in the clinic he spends his time in the gym trying new workouts, playing recreational soccer or enjoying a variety of activities in the beautiful outdoor environment.
